The board of directors of the AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City recently awarded grants to nine local non-profit organizations totaling $50,100. Grantees and their respective award amounts are:?

Regional AIDS Intercommunity Network (RAIN) $5,000; AIDS Support Program/The Winds House $5,700; Red Rock Behavioral Health Services/Red Rock North $5,400; Northern Lights Alternative $6,100; Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma $6,100; Guiding Right $5,400; Other Options $6,400; Latino Community Development Agency $5,000; and the HIV/AIDS Legal Resource Project of Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma $5,000.? Since 1998, the AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City has distributed more than $333,000 in grants to local non-profit organizations providing critically needed services to individuals living with HIV or AIDS.?

The 2007 AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City is scheduled for Sept. 30 at the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
